Hispanic Teacher Associations and Individual Teachers

Teachers have an opportunity, especially those that are teaching Spanish and ESL to communicate with their students by using Dichos that can apply to their students.  As an example, the Dicho that states, “El que sabe dos idiomas, vale dos personas.”  This well-known Dicho can be used to motivate a student by them knowing they are “worth two people” as a result of being bilingual!

There are numerous Dichos that a teacher can use to motivate and encourage their students to want to learn more, along with Dichos that can apply to everyday experiences such as “Una mano lava la otra y las dos lavan la cara,” which encourage students to work with one another in order to accomplish many things more easily.

There are many more, but by now I’m sure you get the picture…..and by the way, we have humorous graphics that help the learning process.

Call me at 559-456-0128 or email me at jaflores1246@comcast.net  if you have any questions.

Buena Suerte!
